ABOUT
David Quinn is the SVP of Investment Management at United Income, a technology startup disrupting the financial planning and investment management market. He is responsible for all investment, trading and wealth management decisions for the firm.
David Quinn is an MBA alumnus from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. David Graduated with Honors in June of 2012. While at Booth, David reached the Dean's List in six consecutive quarters. His concentrations were Analytical Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship and Statistics. David's coursework and research was under acclaimed academics, such as Eugene Fama, Erik Hurst, Steven Kaplan and Toby Moskowitz.
In his free time, David enjoys reading about machine learning, advanced regressions, neuroscience and equity strategies. His current interests are: environmental impacts on decision making, time-varying predictability of equity strategies, tax and rebalance effects on security prices and determinants in NBA game victories.
In September 2011, David was selected as an Economic Advisor on the Illinois Trade Mission to China. He visited Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong and had impactful meetings with Vice-Premier Wang, U.S. Ambassador Locke and other diplomats.
David graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He was an All-American in the NCAA Division III 1,500 meter run by finishing 2nd (see it here).
